What have we done so far?
At the end of September 2025, we had the pleasure of attending Connected Britain. This is the UK’s leading digital economy event, exploring connectivity, infrastructure, and emerging technologies. We were grateful to be able to connect with industry leaders, top speakers and cutting-edge exhibitors on our Lab of the North stand.
A few of our founding partners were also speakers on three separate panels throughout the event. Our first speaker was Robert Gardner from Hitachi Rail, who represented Lab of the North on the Connected Travel panel. The second panel we participated in was all about Connected Networks, with Anthony Magee from Adtran as a speaker. The last panel was entitled Connected Logistics & Smart Ports. We had Elaine Scott from Port of Tyne representing Lab of the North.
We want to thank everyone who came to visit our stand and chat to our team. We hope to stay connected with you in the future.
Looking Ahead
This year, Lab of the North will be joining YO-RAN’s booth at FYUZ 2025. Fyuz brings together innovators, thought leaders, and industry professionals to shape the future of telecommunications and digital infrastructure. Our presence there means that we’ll be able to share lots of exciting information about our current activities and future plans. FYUZ 2025 will take place in Dublin, from 3rd-5th November. Lab of the North will also have a presence at YO-RAN’s end-of-project event, which will be hosted at the York Racecourse on the 18th December 2025. Further details are to follow, but you can register your interest here. We hope to see you there.
